On 25 June, we had the opportunity to spend a social day at VinziRast am Land, where we were actively involved in doing good. VinziRast am Land is a place where formerly homeless people can find a home and regain a foothold in life by working together. 

Our day began with organising the various tasks. Together with volunteers, we took on tasks such as harvesting vegetables, repairing chicken fences and making pickles. We tackled the tasks we were given with joy and enthusiasm. It was a fulfilling experience to see how some of our work contributed directly to feeding the residents and helpers. 

Throughout the day, the gratitude of the people was clearly noticeable, giving us the feeling that we could really make a difference. The solidarity within the community and the warm-hearted interaction made this day an unforgettable experience. At VinciRast am Land, people sow, plant, harvest and much more with their own hands. The work is hard, but it creates a strong community and gives people new perspectives. 

At the end of the day, we all agreed that we would love to come back next year! It was an enriching experience that not only gave us the opportunity to do something good, but also to grow even closer together as a team.
